Civil Engineering

Hey everyone!I am a fourth year co-op student in Civil Engineering, am I am so honoured to be a part of the ECA team for another year. Last year I was the Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering Representative, and I am excited to serve as your Vice President of Academic Affairs for the 2021-2022 academic year. With my previous mandate experience, I am fully equipped to represent the best interests of GCS undergraduate students at the faculty level. As we transition back to in-person classes and prepare for Concordia’s upcoming CEAB accreditation cycle, the ECA academic team is prepared to demand that faculty focuses on continual improvement of engineering education and access to modern engineering tools/softwares.Beyond academic advocacy, an important aspect of my mandate is organizing a memorable Iron Ring ceremony for graduating students. After the previous years’ virtual ceremonies, I am hopeful and excited to prepare an in-person event to truly celebrate the accomplishment of our GCS graduates. Ceremonies will be held around November and April, so be sure to watch for registration news from the ECA.Always feel free to email myself and the department representatives with any academic questions or concerns you have! As your academic team, we are all here to help ensure your undergraduate experience is the best it can be.Wishing all of you the best throughout the 2021-2022 academic year!
