Hi!

I’m Samuel Driver and I’ll be representing your academic and professional interests outside of the University as the Vice-President of External Affairs for the ECA. A lot of us studying in engineering or computer science are looking for the best possible opportunities to launch our careers to their highest potentials. Nothing makes that easier than huge exposure to show employers, other schools and external associations what were made of. It’ll be my responsibility for the 2019-2020 academic year to make sure that YOU get those chances. Actually, I am eager to tackle this challenge, as I am confident that we as a collective group of students from the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science can provide society with leading technical expertise before our official mandates as engineers even begin.

Representing Concordia on all fronts, I can say that my main focus will be to attract the top opportunities for internships and job positions out there. I’ll do this by making sure that relationships between individual professionals and myself are kept genuine and strong, to ultimately foster lasting relationships between these professionals and the ECA long after my mandate has even finished. In other words, aiming for the long run will definitely be the key.

Moreover, when I’m not studying my class material in Building Engineering or working on my duties within the ECA, I am working out, jogging, boxing, or catching up with friends and family.
