Independent Representative

Mechanical Engineering

Hey everyone!

I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student and I’ll be serving as one of two independent representatives on the ECA Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 academic year.

In my capacity as a representative, I shall be a point of contact and a resource for all ENCS students. My previous positions with the Vertical Flight Society (formerly American Helicopter Society) and Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity have prepared me to serve you well as your representative. To that end, I welcome you to bring any difficulties, questions or suggestions you may have with regards to your academic life to me and I shall make it my mission to get you the answers and results that you need, nay, that you deserve! My goal during the next year is to provide continuous support and resources to societies (young and old) that add immense value to our faculty and help them to attain greater heights. Another goal is to find new ways to encourage out-of-class learning, that focus on specific skills and competencies useful for our future careers as engineers.

Throughout my time at Concordia, I have endeavoured to gain a broader University experience by getting involved in student societies. This has been one of the most formative decisions that has helped me develop professionally and personally. I encourage you all to find ways to get involved and you’ll see the results faster than you’d imagine!

In my spare time, I like to read, watch reruns of The Office and shatter hopes & dreams in FIFA. On a regular day at school, you can find me in the labs opposite the ECA office. Swing-by if you ever have an issue that I can help you with or just need to talk about simple stuff like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
